According to a study conducted this year by Javelin Strategy & Research, identity theft costs $54 billion per year – a 12.5 percent increase over 2008. By offering EA USA’s identity theft resolution services to Millennium Series customers, Micro Key and its network of alarm dealers and central stations, who today help protect nearly one million homes and businesses, are providing their customers with a best-in-class service that protects the most precious of assets, one’s identity. In addition, offering identify theft protection and resolution services helps alarm dealers and central stations further protect their customers while generating an additional recurring revenue stream.

Starting in October, Micro Key’s Identikey identity theft protection and resolution service will be offered to all Millennium Series™ Module users, giving them another recurring revenue opportunity and service to offer their customers while helping customers protect themselves from the damages of identify theft. This new identity theft program, powered by EA USA, has critically important features for consumers, such as identity tracking, credit monitoring, fraud alert, wallet protection, and medical identity theft resolution, plus a suite of personal services for customers who find themselves victimized while traveling including emergency cash advance, emergency travel arrangements and journey continuation assistance.
