Executive Biographies

 

Guillaume Deybach, President and CEO
Guillaume Deybach was appointed President and CEO of Europ Assistance USA in August 2001 where he has focused on building profitable development in the Travel, Health and Personal Security business lines. With over ten years of experience in the assistance industry, Deybach spent several years working for Europ Assistance Holding as its International Sales Manager with a focus on Eastern Europe and Russia. He began his career in the assistance industry as Marketing Manager at Europ Assistance Germany.

Mr. Deybach holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Angers School of Business in France. He is an active member of the US Travel Insurance Association (UStiA), Professional Insurance Marketing Association (PIMA) and the French American Chamber of Commerce.

 

Paige Schaffer, Vice President of Operations and Chief Service Officer
Paige Schaffer joined EA USA in 2007 and is focused on providing best-in-class quality and service for customers and demonstrating unrelenting commitment to EA USA’s clients. Schaffer’s departmental responsibilities include emergency travel assistance (including medical team operations); health and travel claims management; identity theft resolution services; concierge services and training.

Ms. Schaffer is a member of the International Customer Management Institute (ICMI), US Travel Insurance Association (UStiA) and Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE). She has been appointed to the US Department of Commerce 2009 Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award Board of Examiners and Europ Assistance Group Holding Global Operations Committee. She has won the CRM Magazine Service Elite Award and received the Institute of Consumer Financial Education - Identity Theft Risk Management Certification (CITRMS).

Prior to joining EA USA, Schaffer held executive positions in operations, business development, professional services and product development servicing Fortune 100 domestic and global clients with companies such as ResortCom International, seeUthere Technologies, Rosenbluth International and Maritz, Inc. Ms. Schaffer also was the founder and owner of Blue Sky Trading, a global import company. Schaffer received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Business from SMU.

 

Glenn Maykish, Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Glenn Maykish joined Europ Assistance USA in 2010 with a focus on expanding EA USA’s distribution reach through continued support of the business-to-business model, investigating alternate distribution initiatives and leveraging the strength of Europ Assistance’s global footprint around the world.

Maykish manages EA USA’s Sales, Marketing and Client Management departments and is also responsible for product development and distribution strategy for the US markets between Europ Assistance and its recently-acquired company, CSA Travel Protection.

Mr. Maykish brings 25 years of experience to EA USA, focused primarily on domestic and international employee benefits distribution. Prior to joining EA USA, Maykish was Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Client Management at CIGNA International Expatriate Benefits, a division of CIGNA Corporation. There, he was responsible for US and Canadian market expansion over a 7 year period, resulting in significant growth for his business unit.
