Europ Assistance USA Launches “Beneficiary Companion” Program as Service Enhancement for Insurance Policies
Bethesda, MD, February 18, 2009 – Europ Assistance USA (EA), the professional partner helping businesses strengthen customer relationships through travel, health, and personal services, today announced the launch of a new service available as an enhancement for insurance policies called Beneficiary Companion.
Beneficiary Companion provides an added service to the insurance beneficiary, taking care of a number of administrative tasks that are required when a loved one dies. This assistance includes the important process of closing the deceased’s credit and financial accounts to protect assets from identity fraud.
“The Beneficiary Companion service is another way EA is helping insurance companies provide products that are in tune with the concerns and struggles of the American family,” said Guillaume Deybach, president and CEO at Europ Assistance USA. “Assistance services are the perfect complement to the financial guarantee of insurance and help drive sales and policy retention for our insurance clients.”
EA is an established leader in providing insurance companies added value services to differentiate their products. EA provides 24/7 travel assistance and identity theft resolution to customers of many of the country’s largest insurance companies.
